How memechain works

A pump.fun launchpad with a proof-of-work chain of inscriptions behind it. The chain decides who owns a meme; pump.fun's programs move the money.

The coin

Created on pump.fun by your wallet, paired with ETH, Token-2022 mint, 1,000,000,000 supply on pump's bonding curve; graduates to PumpSwap on its own.
Creator fee 3% of every trade, on the curve and on the pool.
pump.fun's fee-sharing program splits it at launch: 80% to the meme's owner vault, 10% to the burn wallet, 10% to the treasury. The admin is revoked in the same transaction: nobody, us included, can change it.
The keeper sweeps and distributes the vault as fees accrue, forwards the owner vault to the current owner, and spends the burn share buying the coin back and burning it.

The chain

Proof of work: double SHA-256 over height|prev|time|merkle|target|nonce, Bitcoin-style. The launcher's browser mines the block that carries the inscription.
An inscription commits the picture's SHA-256, size, caption, name, ticker and the coin's mint, signed by the owner's Solana wallet (ed25519). One inscription per picture.
Ownership moves with signed sell, buy and transfer transactions. A buy is accepted only after its SOL payment to the owner is confirmed on Solana (2.5% on top goes to the treasury).
The node seals blocks nobody mines (listings, sales, abandoned launches) with its own key, and re-validates the whole chain from genesis on every start. Export and verification: the explorer recomputes every hash in your browser.

Every signed transaction carries from (the wallet), nonce, sig and txid. Blocks hold at most 50 transactions. Pattern after larajeftic/memechain.

Memecoins can go to zero. The chain here is a ledger of inscriptions and ownership; the coins, the money and the fee split live on Solana and are enforced by pump.fun's programs. Mine a block.
